I used the first-visit promotion and Kotose looked after me. She listened carefully to all my requests, and the result was exactly what I had in mind. Local salons are fine too, but a Japanese salon really puts me at ease.
The salon can be a little hard to find. If you are coming from City Hall station, going via basement B1 is the shortest route and you will not get lost. (I went above ground, got completely lost and was late.) It is better not to follow the Google Maps directions.

Sanae cut my hair and Saki did my nails.
For my cut, I only had to describe roughly what I wanted, and she made it suit me perfectly. My hair was easy to manage afterwards, and I did not need a hair iron. For my nails, she suggested colours that suit my skin tone and created a design that was just right for work. I was really happy.
