How much is a haircut?
A cut is $80 (before GST). Guests under 24 can enjoy a Student's Cut at $50, children under 12 a Kid's Cut at $45, and a Fringe Cut is $15 (shampoo for Student's and Kid's Cuts is +$15 if desired).
Do you cut children's hair?
Yes, children under 12 can enjoy a Kid's Cut ($45, before GST). Depending on the desired style, a shampoo (+$15) may be required.
Do you cut men's hair?
Yes, we welcome male guests for cuts, colour and perms. A cut is $80 (before GST) for both men and women.
Do you offer a student's cut?
Yes, guests under 24 can enjoy a Student's Cut at $50 (before GST). Shampoo is +$15 if desired.
Can I get just a fringe trim?
Yes, a Fringe Cut is $15 (before GST).

Hair colour
How much is hair colour?
Full Color is $105–$140 and Retouch Color (roots) is $90 (before GST). 3D Highlights or Lowlights are $130 (half) / $170 (full), and Illumina Color can be added for +$40 for extra translucency.
Can I get a lighter shade or brown without bleach?
Yes. Our signature Gentle Silk Colour creates glossy brown shades that suit your hair, from warm mocha copper to rose and bordeaux, without bleach. We use Japanese-quality colour products and take care to minimise strain according to your hair's condition.
Do you offer highlights or lowlights?
Yes. 3D Highlights or Lowlights are $130 (half) / $170 (full), and Point Highlights are $40–$130 (before GST).
What hair colours are popular right now?
In recent years, dimensional brown shades have become more popular than bright, bold colours. At AUBE, we offer Gentle Silk Colour, a glossy brown without bleach, in shades ranging from mocha copper to rose and bordeaux.

Perms
I have bleached hair but I want to do rebonding or perming. Is this possible?
A hair consultation is required to assess the condition of your hair. Generally, due to the nature of bleached hair, we do not recommend it to be permed or rebonded due to increased damage to the hair, but there are some cases where it might be feasible. We recommend visiting us for a consultation to determine the best approach for your hair.
Do you offer digital perms?
Yes, a Digital Perm is $200 (before GST). We also offer our signature Soft Wave Perm ($280, cut included) for soft waves, which typically last 3–6 months on average (varies by hair type).
How much is a perm?
Cosmetic Perm is $130–$170, Digital Perm is $200 and Point Perm is $50–$80 (before GST).
Rebonding
Hair straightening
Humidity makes my hair frizzy and unmanageable. Which service do you recommend?
We recommend Rebonding ($230–$260), which keeps hair straight even in Singapore's humidity. For a more natural finish, we also offer Cosmetic Straight ($150–$260, before GST).
How much is rebonding?
Rebonding is $230 for a touch-up at the roots, $260 for full hair, and Point Rebonding for specific sections is $70–$150 (before GST).

How much is bleach?
Bleach is $110 for a retouch, $120 / $140 / $160 for full hair, and $190 / $220 / $240 for a double bleach (depending on hair length, before GST). We use care products alongside to minimise damage.

Is there a salon in Singapore that does balayage?
Yes, AUBE HAIR offers it as our signature Luminous Balayage ($320, before GST). Our stylists hand-paint the colour to create a smooth gradation that brightens your complexion.
What is the Lux Gloss Treatment?
The Lux Gloss Treatment is AUBE's signature treatment ($220–$250, before GST) using the Japanese hair care brand TOKIO Inkarami. The formula is tailored to your hair's condition, giving damaged hair deep, long-lasting gloss.
How long does Gentle Silk Colour last?
Approximately 1–3 months is a guide. The colour gradually fades, and red or copper tones may soften sooner. Your shade, hair condition, colour history and home care affect longevity. The initial shade will not stay unchanged throughout this period.
How long do the results of the Lux Gloss Treatment last?
Gloss and softness typically last 3+ months (varies by hair type and home care). With monthly visits, the results build on each other.
What is the Soft Wave Perm?
The Soft Wave Perm is AUBE's signature perm, created with a Japanese-style digital perm ($280 including cut, before GST). Soft waves without stiffness or frizz last 3–6 months on average.
What is balayage?
Balayage is a colouring technique whose name comes from the French verb "balayer", meaning "to sweep". Colour is applied as if sweeping with a broom, creating a soft gradation from root to tip. It originated in France in the 1970s.
Is balayage noticeable as my hair grows out?
Not really. Because the colour blends naturally from the roots, the regrowth line is less noticeable and fewer touch-ups are needed.
Is there anything I should prepare before balayage?
Bringing photos close to your desired look helps us share the image. We will also discuss the amount of bleach, the final shade and how the colour will fade together during your consultation.

Singapore's water and UV rays leave my hair dry. Which treatment do you recommend?
We recommend the TOKIO Inkarami Treatment ($160), which repairs hair from within, or step-by-step treatments from Milbon, a Japanese salon-exclusive brand ($70+, before GST). If you are also concerned about your scalp, we offer the TOKIO Hair & Scalp Set ($200).
Can I get a treatment on bleached hair?
Yes, the Lux Gloss Treatment is suitable even for hair that has been coloured or bleached many times. We check your hair's condition and mix the formula to suit your hair on the day.
What is TOKIO Inkarami?
TOKIO Inkarami is a hair treatment from Japan. Its patented Inkarami technology repairs hair from within, while natural ingredients such as Fullerene protect hair from UV and environmental damage.
Do you offer Milbon treatments?
Yes, we offer step-by-step treatments from Milbon, a Japanese salon-exclusive brand: 3Steps Smooth $70 / $75 / $80 and 4Steps REPAIR $90 / $100 / $110 (before GST; home kit +$30).
Do you offer scalp care?
Yes, we offer the TOKIO Scalp Treatment ($70–$100) and Scalp Care, which can be added to any service (+$50) (before GST).
Do you offer keratin treatments?
Yes, a Keratin Treatment is $180–$250 (before GST).
Why does my hair get frizzy and dry in Singapore?
Outdoors, hair absorbs moisture from the heat and humidity and frizzes, while air-conditioned interiors and strong UV rays draw moisture out and dry it. Both happen when the moisture balance inside the hair is disrupted, so care that replenishes moisture and smooths the surface is effective.
Will using oil on humidity-frizzed hair make it feel heavy?
Applying a small amount, mainly to the ends, keeps hair manageable without weighing it down. The key is to avoid the roots.
My hair feels dry. Do I need a treatment every day?
If you are concerned about damage or dryness, daily moisturising care helps. The ideal frequency depends on your hair's condition, so your stylist will advise you at your visit.
My hair has changed since my 40s. Should I change my hair care too?
Yes. As we age, hair's ability to retain moisture changes, so we recommend shifting to moisture-focused care. We will suggest treatments and home care suited to your hair type.
How can I protect my hair from UV rays?
It is effective to protect your hair physically with a hat or parasol while also using UV-conscious hair care products. At the salon, we also offer TOKIO Inkarami treatments containing the antioxidant Fullerene.
Is there a treatment for hair that has been bleached or coloured repeatedly?
Yes, for heavily damaged hair we recommend the TOKIO Inkarami Treatment ($160, before GST). It delivers repairing ingredients such as keratin deep into the hair, restoring strength, elasticity and shine.
What ingredients does TOKIO Inkarami contain?
Key ingredients include Fullerene, an antioxidant that protects hair from UV and environmental damage; hydrolysed keratin, which replenishes hair's main component; 18-MEA, which smooths the cuticle; ceramides, which retain moisture; and silk protein, which improves texture.

What products do you use in your salon?
We use Japan's finest hair care brand, Tokio Inkarami, designed to maintain and enhance the health of your hair. Our product selection includes luxury shampoos, conditioners, and treatments that cater to various hair types and concerns.
Are your colour and perm products from Japan?
Yes, we mainly use Japanese products for colour and perms. For treatments, we also use Milbon, a Japanese salon-exclusive brand, and the Japanese hair care brand TOKIO Inkarami.
What kind of salon is AUBE HAIR?
AUBE HAIR is a hair salon of AUBE Hair Group, which operates more than 260 salons across Japan. We have four salons in Singapore, where Japanese stylists care for your hair using Japanese techniques and products.
Can I book just a shampoo and blow-dry?
Yes, Shampoo & Blow is available for $65 (before GST).
Do you do hair styling for parties and weddings?
Yes, Hair Set is available from $70 (before GST). Please let us know the style you'd like when you book.

Can I have a Japanese stylist in Singapore?
Yes. All four AUBE HAIR Singapore salons (Wheelock Place, Marina Square, Somerset and Clarke Quay Central) have Japanese stylists trained in Japan. One stylist looks after you from consultation to finish.
Can I request a specific stylist?
Yes, you can choose your preferred stylist when booking via online booking (Fresha). Each stylist's profile and specialities can be found on our "Our Team" page.
Are all your stylists Japanese?
Yes, all stylists at AUBE HAIR Singapore are Japanese. Trained in Japan, they are skilled in the latest Japanese colour and treatment techniques.
Can I be served in English?
Yes, we serve clients in both Japanese and English. Feel free to book or enquire in either language.

Is there a Japanese hair salon in Orchard?
Yes, AUBE HAIR Wheelock Place (501 Orchard Road, Wheelock Place #05-09A) is just a short walk from Orchard station. Our Japanese stylists are based here, and you can book in Japanese. Nail services are also available at this salon.

Do I need to book an appointment?
We welcome walk-in customers on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid potential wait times, we highly recommend booking an appointment in advance. You can easily schedule your visit through online booking on our website or via WhatsApp at your preferred salon (choose a salon to open WhatsApp).
What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. You can contact us via phone or email to make changes to your booking.
Can I book a same-day appointment?
Yes, same-day bookings are possible when slots are available. Check real-time availability via online booking, or contact us via each salon's WhatsApp or by phone.
Where can I book online?
You can book online (Fresha) 24 hours a day from each salon's page or via "Book Online" at the top of the site.

Can I consult in Japanese?
Yes, everything from consultation to booking is available in Japanese. Feel free to contact us in Japanese via WhatsApp or by phone. We can also assist you in English.

Which salon offers nail services?

How much is a pedicure?
A pedicure is the price of the corresponding manicure plus $10 (before GST).
How much does nail art cost as an add-on?
Glitter, hologram, parts, design art and 3D art can be added from $5 per nail (before GST).
Do you offer nail extensions?
Yes, nail extensions are available from $12 per nail (before GST). A prior consultation is required.
Who is your nail technician?
Our nail services are provided by our nail technician, Saki. She holds a JNA (Japan Nailist Association) instructor certification and places great importance on keeping your nails healthy.
Can I book just a hand or foot care?
Yes, Classic Hand Care is $60 and Foot Care is $70 (before GST). It includes a cut, cuticle care/exfoliation and moisturising.
Gel
How long do gel nails last?
Gel nails typically last about 2 to 3 weeks. Maintenance and touch-ups are recommended to keep your nails looking their best.
What is the difference between soft gel and hard gel?
Soft Gel: Soft gel, also known as soak-off gel, is a flexible gel that is designed to be removed easily by soaking in acetone. It is ideal for creating a natural look and is often used for gel manicures. Soft gel provides a thinner and more lightweight finish compared to hard gel and is suitable for those who prefer a more natural nail appearance or want to change their nail colour frequently.
Hard Gel: Hard gel is a more durable and rigid gel that cannot be soaked off and requires filing to remove. It is used to create stronger, more sculpted nails and is often chosen for nail extensions or for clients who want a more substantial and long-lasting nail enhancement. Hard gel provides additional strength and durability, making it ideal for clients who need extra support or desire more dramatic nail shapes.
How much are gel nails?
Gel nails for hands are $110 for One Color, $100 for Glitter Gradation, $120 for Magnet (Cat's Eye) and from $130 for French Tip Designs (before GST). For design consultations, please send a reference photo in advance to our Wheelock Place salon via WhatsApp (8838 2418).
Can you remove gel done at another salon?
Yes, we can remove gel applied at other salons. It's from $20 if you're getting a new set with us, or from $50 for removal only (before GST). Removal is free when replacing a set we did.
How can I make my gel nails last longer?
For long nails, we recommend Hard Coating ($15, before GST) for extra strength. Maintenance every 2 to 3 weeks will keep your nails looking beautiful.
